Well regarded people who nonetheless are now felt to lack the qualities to flip from survival to high growth mode. We are designing and will implement Development centres for some 100 executives and middle managers worldwide
Conducting as strategic review of two US based HR functions of media and creative business owned by a worldwide media organisation. The purpose being to enable the leaders of these effective functions identify ‘break through strategies’ to significantly shift the HR functions value proposition and enhance the brand experience of working with HR
On-boarding coaching of an HR Director, supporting her as she transitioned out of her previous role and joining her new company where she is now work for her old boss who moved on to current company a year in advance. My client has moved on substantially and wishes, quite rightly, to avoid falling into the old [and very comfortable] ways of working with her boss.
Acting as sounding board / critical friend / and hands on support for CHRO and his OD Director of a private equity owned major service provider to retailers and financial services companies. With an IPO expected in 18-24 months HR’s focus has been very operational. The PE owners are applying pressure on the function to develop a 5 year People and Learning strategy and I was asked to support them in the shaping and development of this and in particular helping them develop a compelling proposition to put before their owners in mid-July
